HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is a high-end graphics card from HIS digital. With this high-end graphics card you can play the latest pc game smoothly. As you all know the latest game require high system specs and that’s include graphics.

HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is design with the blue colour which add cool feelings to it. The display port of this graphics card is quite complete, you will get 2 DVI port, 2 mini display port, and 1 HDMI port.

To use this HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq you will need 6 pin + 8 pin power from your PSU. Unfortunately the position of this pin is block by the fan cover, so it will be difficult for you to unplug the power cable.

HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is equip with the iceq cooling system which consist of four heatpipe and one big blue fan. This big blue fan is not too noisy when working under normal condition. But when you run games for example this fan become noisy.

The temperature of HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is quite high despite this graphics card has an Iceq cooling system. When in idle condition the temperature is 42 degree celcius and when maximum play the temperature reach 90 degree celcius.

HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq offer great features, one of them is the AMD Power Play Technology which allow you to reduce power consumption by lowering the electricity scale when working under low GPU activity.

Other good feature is the AMD Cross FireX Technology which will improve performance when you play games. HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is capable of playing games that require high specs.

We do a few test on HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq and the result was amazing. This graphics card manage to run Crysis 2 with 69.29 FPS at 1280 x 1024 resolution, while at 1920 x 1080 it can produce 51.10 FPS.

Other game that we test is Lost Planet 2. HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is running on 46.57 FPS at 1280 x 1024 resolution and 38.93 FPS at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The performance of HIS Radeon HD 6970 Iceq is quite good, if you’re looking for high-end graphics this could be the one.
